Our legal team has represented residents of Columbia County for more than 40 years, and we plan on sticking around for at least another 40 more serving the community with fine legal representation. While we are a general practice firm, we specialize in Elder Law, including Medicaid and Asset Protection Planning. In addition to Columbia County, we also serve residents of Montour, Northumberland, Luzerne, Lycoming, and Lackawanna Counties. Aside from Elder Law and Estate Administration and Planning, we also handle cases involving Bankruptcy, Real Estate, and even some Family and Criminal Law matters. At the end of the day, we’re local attorneys who work for the local people who live in our community. Our very own Marianne Kreisher and Marissa Marshall are two of only 51 Certified Elder Law Attorneys in the ENTIRE state of Pennsylvania, and the ONLY attorneys with that certification in Columbia and Montour Counties.   • Marianne E. Kreisher, Esq., CELA

    For four generations, the Kreisher family has practiced law in Columbia County. Marianne is a founding member of Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC and one of two certified elder law attorneys in Columbia and Montour counties. Marianne received her certification in 2011 from the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She specializes in the areas of elder law (including Medicaid and asset protection), estate planning and administration, guardianship, special needs planning, and estate litigation.Marianne earned her B.A. from Penn State University in 1993, where she was a member of the 1990–91 Lady Lion Gymnastics Team. She graduated cum laude from Widener Law School in Harrisburg in 1996. While in law school, Marianne was an internal editor of the Widener Journal of Public Law and a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society.Following law school, Marianne worked in the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office for eight years as a deputy attorney general handling criminal appeals, grand jury investigations, and criminal prosecutions. While in the Attorney General's Office, she was involved in several murder trials, as well as child abuse and insurance fraud cases. Marianne handled appeals in the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts, the Middle and Eastern Federal District Courts of Pennsylvania, and the United States Supreme Court.Marianne is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Columbia/Montour County Bar Association, and serves on the council of the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Marianne serves as President of the Bloomsburg Area School Directors. She has served as an adjunct professor at Central Penn College, is past-president of the Bloomsburg Kiwanis Club, and is the immediate past president of the Columbia/Montour Bar Association.     Certified elder law attorney Marissa B. Marshall grew up in Elkhart, Indiana. Marissa is one of two certified elder law attorneys in Columbia and Montour counties, and a founding member of Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University and later obtained her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University - Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.Following law school, Marissa moved to Columbia County, Pennsylvania, where she has been practicing law since 2009. Prior to receiving her certification, Marissa worked as a general practitioner focusing on elder law and family law. Marissa received her certification in 2016 from the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She specializes in elder law, including Medicaid planning, asset protection, estate planning and administration, guardianship, special needs planning, and estate litigation.Marissa is a member of the Pennsylvania Elder Law Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Columbia-Montour Bar Association, and is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She is also active in her community and donates her time to the Bloomsburg Kiwanis Club and volunteers annually at a charity golf tournament that benefits Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. She resides in Orangeville with her husband, Matt Golla, their daughter Izzy, and dog, Charlie.

    Attorney Michael P. Gregorowicz is a lifetime resident of Catawissa and has been with the firm since 1979. He is a graduate of Dickinson College and Pace University Law School in White Plains, New York. He is a former Assistant District Attorney for Columbia County and serves as solicitor for several local townships and authorities.Mike is a member of the Columbia/Montour County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Middle District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Bar Association. He serves as scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troup 67 and is a member of the Columbia/Montour Boy Scout Council.     Attorney William S. Kreisher has over forty years of experience as a general practitioner. He is the third generation in his family to practice in Columbia County. Bill is a graduate of Dickinson College and Dickinson School of Law. He served as a U.S. Army officer in Vietnam and is a former District Attorney.Bill is listed in Who's Who, is a member of the Columbia/Montour Bar Association (twice past president), the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice. He is also a member of the Bloomsburg Kiwanis Club (past president.)He resides in Bloomsburg with his wife, Donna, where he serves as Mayor of Bloomsburg. Bill's practice emphasis is on property law, estate planning and administration, and domestic relations.
